Anyone who knows the editor knows that things are getting emotional right now: we dare to take a (short) trip through the delights of our region. However, it should be noted that we have many good restaurants, but unfortunately we cannot accommodate them all ;-).
Region. You don’t have to travel far to get a full stomach and delicious food. Schnitzel and fries have had their day, as the region has many good delicacies to offer. Whether it’s the countless wine bars in the Roman region or the fine cuisine – everyone will find something for themselves here.
American classic “On Tour”
Burgers and fries – well, who doesn’t think of the fast food giant with the golden M first? Neither do we! Because what started in a warehouse in Schwechat has made a name for itself in the region’s culinary scene.
Patrick Graf and Michaela Brattle tour their burger palace “Helmarts” mainly through the surrounding areas of Vienna. But there is one constant on the menu every Thursday: a stop in front of the Schwechat town hall.
In addition, the two have started a new concept with a second food truck: the pizza “From Narox”. This has already brought them countless positive feedback when Michaela participated in a fan mile in Schwechat.

Cool refreshments in summer and mulled wine in winter make culinary hearts beat faster. We are talking about Christian Steinberger's ice cream shop in Zwölfaxing. There are currently numerous ice cream specialties in the display case. A highlight for children is included: Kindersurprise. Two scoops of ice cream, a drink and a dessert – ideal for the little ones.
In winter, the restaurant turns into a shop selling homemade hot drinks. Here you can warm up and enjoy the Christmas season in a friendly atmosphere and beautiful setting.
Everyone loves the area.
