The weather service expects temperatures around 30 degrees on Friday. On Saturday, the temperature can rise to 35 degrees. It looks similar across Saxony: according to forecasts, it is the warmest in the Leipzig region. But also in other parts of the Free State it will never be colder than 33 to 34 degrees. Only in the mountainous regions can people calm down a bit.
No showers, no thunderstorms, and around 30 degrees this weekend
After a strong thunderstorm Friday night, the weekend is expected to remain dry: “No showers, no thunderstorms,” Florian Engelmann assesses. It will probably rain a little bit on Sunday night only. Festival-goers and school guests don’t have to worry about storms.

However, the humidity is still high. Since nature releases a lot of water after the rains of the past few days and in high temperatures, it will still be wet on weekends. Even evening ventilation is likely to bring a little cooling, because no wind is expected. The weather service expects temperatures again around 30 degrees on Sunday.
