Snowboarding vacation goes on tour again. Performance tests for the new Supernova show have already been completed and training will begin soon. The tour begins in Belgium in early December. There are still about 100 days until the premiere in Vienna on January 19, 2022.
The snowboarder Innsbruck also belongs to the group
From January 19 to January 30, 2022, the world’s best skaters will demonstrate their snowboarding skills at three shows per day at Wiener Stadthalle. The group includes Selena Profänter from Innsbruck, who started figure skating at the age of six. Ever since she saw a runner in a gorgeous dress play figure skating at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, her passion for the sport has awakened. Now she can’t imagine a better life than touring. A childhood dream has come true for her, as she can now share her passion for snowboarding with the rest of the world as a skater on Holiday on Ice.
A snowboard holiday that takes the audience to the vastness of space
The story of Holiday on Ice Supernova also invites you to dream without limits: the show takes the audience with a supernova – a galactic explosion – to the vastness of space. The show features galactic sets, figure skating, and acrobatics. Star designer Stefano Cannoli created a colorful fashionista for just that. Actors change their costumes six to ten times for each performance.
“Continuing the tradition of popular ice shows at Wiener Stadthalle”
“We all can’t wait to continue the tradition of the famous ice shows at Wiener Stadthalle in January 2022. Holiday on Ice has always been one of the highlights of Wiener Stadthalle. Be present when Holiday on Ice returns – it’s waiting for you to show off!”, says Carola Lindenbauer, managing director of the Wiener Stadthalle.
