Marking the announcement of the latest figures in business, Ubisoft has dared to look into the future once again, and in case there are two top hits, somewhat bad news for fans.
The developer and publisher have reported delaying two titles: both Tom Clancy’s The Division: Heartland As well as a new edition of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time The originally planned and reported release timeframes cannot be maintained.
Either way, a publication was scheduled for Ubisoft in the current fiscal year, which will run until March 2022. But nothing will come of it now. Instead, both titles will now be published in the next fiscal year. In both cases, the issuance period runs from April 2022 to March 2023; No more concrete information was initially provided.
In the end, this announcement isn’t entirely surprising when you consider that there’s been nothing to watch from either title for a long time. These were also missing at E3 2021, for example, and were not shown.
The Division: Heartland is a free, stand-alone survival game set in the universe of The Division. The development is led by Red Storm Entertainment, which contributed at least to the previous two major parts.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was announced in September 2020, and is actually scheduled for release in January 2021. This was later delayed until March 2021 and then finally another without a specific time. The new version has been delayed three times.
