The commitment of the second generation in amateur football: the direct consequences of the last day of matches of the first round of the Upper Austrian League – Football in Upper Austria – Results, tables and scorers from all the Upper Austrian leagues.

In Austria’s upper house of parliament, 2,411 and therefore 98.5 percent of all women’s and men’s team combat games in the Autumn Championships have been played so far. Only the last regular autumn round of the Austrian Upper League and an additional 30 matches of combat teams from the lower county leagues are fantastic. Due to a new regulation by the federal government, only those who have been vaccinated and recovered can participate in these games.

Eleven men’s leagues and three women’s leagues have already completed the entire fall tournament. In the Eastern District League, the only match missing due to abandonment is pending procedures with the penalty committee, which will be dealt with tomorrow. Because of this action and the games still open, the fall tournament has not ended in 14 men’s tournaments and one women’s league.

The federal government decree, which went into effect on November 8, states that due to the development of the pandemic, 2G certification is required to enter non-public sports facilities. This means that only those who have been vaccinated and recovered can participate in the tournament matches.

“Unlike the previous year, the legislature enables us to complete the entire fall tournament in all tournaments and thus ensure that the 2021/22 season can be counted. Securing the rankings as soon as possible was the main objective of all participants, as the clubs should be thanked for how they mastered the special challenges Due to COVID-19. We started this season knowing that legal submission of a second generation commitment in amateur football is possible. Now it is about handling the last 38 games remaining in the coming weeks under changing frame conditions”, explains OÖFV President Gerhard Gottschofer.
