The emergency at Las Termas turns the 2022 Argentina race into an obvious two-day event: the schedule has been revised a second time.
It is now clear that the missing cargo boxes will be arriving at the Autodromo Termas de Río Hondo tonight. That’s why Dorna, IRTA and FIM have now introduced a new schedule for Saturday. Since it takes most of the time to prepare for MotoGP teams that have been hit by late shipping, the first two Moto3 and Moto2 practice sessions will take place in the morning (local time) before 12.35pm (5.35pm CST). Starts 1 hour FP1 for «First Class».
The Moto3 class FP1 already starts at 8.15 local time. In the evening, driving will continue until 5:45 p.m. local time. It doesn’t get dark here until about 7pm.
On Saturday evening, the drive will be two hours longer than initially planned. For this, FP3 for MotoGP had to be scrapped. Entry into Q2 and Q1 will be determined after FP2. The warm-up now lasts 40 minutes instead of 20 minutes, at least in the first trimester. The two free training sessions last 60 minutes instead of the usual 45 minutes.
