With a balloon at an altitude of 32 km |
Americans are planning a space bar
This is probably the most expensive drink in the world, but also the most impressive …
The American space company Space Perspective has now presented the Neptune spaceship, including a neat rod, the Neptune is said to be floating on a balloon at an altitude of 32 kilometers. From there, guests can sip a martini at the fine bar and enjoy a view of the land.
Neptune offers space for eight passengers, and the ticket costs 125,000 euros. Guests are seated in comfortable reclining seats and enjoy a panoramic view through the 360-degree panoramic windows. It is said to be the largest spaceship ever built.
The refreshment bar should consist of dark, flavorful materials. Glare and reflections can be reduced in this way. Of course, Neptune has a WiFi hotspot.
Neptune starts from the legendary American space station Kennedy Space Center, and the ascent takes about two hours. However, it only goes to the edge of space, at an altitude of about 32 kilometers. For comparison: the ISS orbits the Earth at an altitude of 400 km.
Six to eight hours later, Neptune descends into the ocean in the Gulf of Mexico.
Unlike competing spaceships, the balloon will rise very smoothly and thanks to a pressurized capsule there will be no floating in zero gravity. So rather a trip for quiet contemporaries…
The first flight for Neptune is scheduled for 2024, and according to the company, all seats are already sold out. Reservations are still accepted.
And how much is a martini on board? The good news: All drinks are included!
