130 million! Manchester United made a record bid for Joao Felix

Two weeks before the deadline for the exchange, it appears Manchester United are trying hard to acquire new players – and waving the bills really big. This time it’s about Joao Felix, who was on the Red Devils’ wish list in 2019.

According to Spanish sports agency AS, Atletico Madrid have rejected a €130 million bid for Felix. United tried. For the English record champions, this would have been the most expensive transfer in the club’s history. Paul Pogba is the most expensive investment to date with a fee of 105 million euros.

But for Atlético, letting go of Felix is ​​not a problem at all. Officials in Manchester were immediately informed that the 22-year-old would not be moving anywhere this summer. In the context of this, reference was also made to the exit clause, a whopping 350 million euros.
