Harry and Meghan’s new beginning in California was two years ago now. The ducal couple wants to make a name for themselves in America, but the big breakthrough is still a long way off. Will they fade into oblivion?

Montecito – Since July 2020, Prince Harry (37) and Meghan Markle (41) in the United States. After leaving Krone, the abandoned couple also opted for financial independence. To pad the household budget, the Sussexes set big goals – so far with no success.

Just months after moving to California, Harry and Meghan announced their first big plans. Sussex concluded lucrative million-dollar deals with well-known companies such as Netflix or Spotify. Royal fans are still waiting in vain for the fruits of this promising collaboration.

Getting a foothold in their adopted country and gaining the support of Americans is proving harder than they thought for Harry and Meghan. According to “News” royal commentator Daniela Elser, the duo’s plan to establish themselves as stars in America failed miserably: “Harry and Meghan have utterly failed to establish themselves in the corridors of power in Washington, New York, Silicon Valley or Los Angeles. The magic dust of their royalty has largely faded in the last couple of years and the innovation has waned.

The big hurdle: Harry and Meghan haven’t conquered America yet

The fact that they still have to fight for the reputation and support of the Americans should be a thorn in Harry and Meghan’s side. As they resigned, they did not have an easy time in Great Britain, and they certainly expected more from their new lives and opportunities in America.
