Man is stung thousands of times by killer bees

I amm US state Ohio A young man was seriously injured after being stung thousands of times by killer bees. US broadcaster Fox 19 reported on Wednesday that 20-year-old Austin Bellamy was placed in an induced coma and had to be artificially ventilated. According to his family, he was stabbed more than 20,000 times.

Bellamy was cutting branches from a lemon tree last Friday when he accidentally cut into a nest of African killer bees. “When he started cutting them (branches) the bees came out,” his grandmother Phyllis Edwards told Fox 19. “He was screaming, ‘Help, help me, help,’ and no one was helping him.”

The family watched from the ground as Bellamy was attacked by bugs – but couldn’t help as she attacked herself. The grandmother said she wanted to climb the ladder to help her grandson. “But I could not reach him because I was surrounded by bees.”

According to his mother, Bellamy swallowed about 30 bees. It would have taken the doctors more than a day to suction him out. Accordingly, doctors expect the 20-year-old to make a full recovery.
