It’s time: Marko Arnautovic is an ÖFB record player!
Bologna appeared in 11th place for team boss Ralph Rangnick in the Nations League match in Paris against world champion France, and completed his 103rd international match in the red, white and red dress. The 33-year-old has finally reached the level of Andreas Herzog.
Already on Sunday in the second leg against Croatia, Arnautovic could take the lead with his 104th appearance. Nearly 14 years after his debut for Austria in October 2008 in a 1-1 draw in the Faroe Islands, the Red, White and Red star made an important entry in the books History of the ÖFB.
11th start in his first game under then-team manager Karel Bruckner: Manninger; Garrix, Stranzl, Braudel, Bugatz; Harnick, Scharner; Evanshitz, Fox; Yanko, Hoover. 19-year-old Arnautovic entered a place for Mark Janko in the 81st minute.
