The reigning hero is slowly gaining speed! Home win over SV Mitchelldorf – Football in Upper Austria – Results, tables and goals from all Upper Austrian championships.

Hope arose in the camp SPG Weisskirchen / Allhaming After the first win of the season – and with it a touch of optimism and euphoria. This was only squashed by SPG Pregarten last weekend, once again they couldn’t get past a tie. The next opportunity for the Austrian top league champions to free themselves from the bleak and unfamiliar table situation came tonight against SV Green White Mitchelldorf. In the end, they immediately used this, beating the opponent 3:2, so they could go back to the top half of the table in the future.

hosts fireworks

The Zebras made a dream start in front of their fans, at first they overcame their opponents with brutal efficiency and after a quarter of an hour they were comfortably ahead 2-0. Valentin Grobek appeared twice in the scorers’ list and thus should lay the foundation for the subsequent three points. In between, Florian Temple was also not so lucky, only hitting the crossbar when trying to head the ball. But Michaeldorfer did not hide from the start, bravely presented himself at the front and had many great chances to score a goal in the first round. The serious and undoubtedly decisive difference to the opponent: incompetence. The Zebras were 2-0 in the first half.

Guests wake up – to no avail

After changing teams, Zauner-Elf finally had their best stage tonight, dominating the opponent for extended periods and also finding a better opportunity to score. The greens were finally rewarded for the first time after 52 minutes when Luca Mayer-Valten scored the goal he deserved at the time. However, it was only during this period of pressure, when the guests continued to press for an equaliser after the just mentioned goal, that Olzinger’s highly effective team was again challenged: Valentin Grobeck was there after a corner kick, smashed the ball into the net and locked it. Without further ado, hat-trick (59). The guests did not give up, however, they continued to seek their salvation on the attack, and thus narrowed the zebras, at least in stages, in half. The logical result: Kevin Brandstätter scored again, and safely converted a penalty (79′). This was followed by a turbulent final stage, in which the Green Egg threw the man and the mouse forward to somehow force a win by the point – ultimately in vain. The hosts shook the win with a slight stomachache over time, so they can look forward to their second win of the season.
