Chef Kai Küpferle and his staff were particularly impressed by the consistently high quality of the cuisine, but also by the skillful and varied use of regional ingredients.

Kai Kupferl, who has been working at Alpin Resort Sacher since May, is happy with the diverse kitchen team – six countries cook in Sacher’s kitchen – about the award: “2022 is a really good year for all of us: I have a dream job and a dream team at Sacher. The fact that we get such Such a high award in the first few months is actually unbelievable and we are just as happy as the daily comments from the guests.”

Adds Kupferli: “My team and I wore a hat. We give a second hat to Christopher Gorschler and the service team, who perfectly prepare and serve what we cook.”
