Soloist duo Olga Esina and Roman Laszek as well as members of the ballet company of the Vienna State Ballet choreographed by David Bombana at the Upper Belvedere Palace.

New Year’s Eve on ORF III is all about Austrian humor from 8.35am until the wee hours of New Year 2023 – with comic moments from and greats such as Karl Farkas, Ernst Waldbrunn, Otto Schenk and Helmuth Lohner, but also current cabaret programming by Klaus Eckel (First the Good News, at 11 p.m.) and Thomas Stepsits (“Stinatzer Delikatessen”, at 12 a.m.).
From 8 p.m. multiple segments are shortened “ORF III New Year’s Countdown” Hours until the end of the year: New Year’s Eve party is a little different with Ani Gülgün-Mayr and Michael Schottenberg, where people cook, sing and dance.
