The singer delighted her audience with the musical theater.
Latvian mezzo-soprano and Viennese mistress Elīna Garanča sing regularly at the most important opera houses and festivals in the world. Her greatest stage successes include Annio and Sesto in La clemenza di Tito, Charlotte in Werther, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Carmen and Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia and KNDER in Wagner’s Parsifal at the Vienna State Opera.
This time her tour plan went to the musical theater in Linz, where she delighted the audience with her voice. The Bruckner Orchestra, conducted by her husband, conductor Karel Marc Chichon, has played works by Johann and Richard Strauss, Franz Lehar, Karl Zeller, and many others.

Great Voices Concert Series
The show took place as part of the “Great Voices” concert series, which, due to the great response in the last season, is now continuing in the 2022/23 anniversary season (ten years of Musiktheater Linz). The current edition includes five musical evenings with five world stars of the opera scene. The Bruckner Orchestra can be seen at two of the Great Voices concert evenings: After Elīna Garanča, Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez will hold the honor on June 21, 2023. As expected, this concert is already sold out.
