World of WarCraft: Dragonflight renewal! Blizzard Entertainment has released a new content patch 10.0.7 with “Return to the Forbidden Island” – here’s what’s inside!
The next chapter in the newest addition to World of WarCraft: Dragonflight is here! Blizzard Entertainment has released the Return to the Forbidden Island content update as part of the 10.0.7 update after an earlier testing phase.
With the defeat of the primordial dragon Raszageth, the storms that cut off the Forbidden Isle from the Dragon Isles have died down, allowing adventurers to explore. Accordingly, with the eponymous Forbidden Island, you will also get a new region for players with the highest level of characters. With the Zskera vault, there is a new dungeon and a new faction, the traditional armor and the expansion of the monk class are waiting for you.
The official feature list of the update reads as follows:
- New level cover area: Forbidden Island
- This area contains new content for max level characters that deal with the effects of primordial interference and the chaos they create among the elements.
- Zeskira cellar
- Max-level characters who venture deep into the Forbidden Isle can aid the Dragonscale’s expedition as they adventure through newly discovered dungeons filled with enemies, unsolved secrets, and authentic treasures.
- New faction: Winter Fur Furbolgs
- Player characters will learn to understand and eventually even speak the Furbolg language of the Azure Mountains by helping Sonova Snowbank decipher their own dialect and gain their confidence.
- Traditional shields for humans and orcs
- Once they reach level 50, Orc or Human characters who have been anointed with their own faction can start a new quest line. Completing the game requires new armor sets to pay homage to these classic Warcraft races.
- Monk chapter extension
- Lightforged Draenei, Worgen, and Goblins can now choose the monk class as well.
- Chapter balancing and adjustments
- Vengeance Paladin’s talent trees are undergoing a major overhaul, but tweaks are coming in most of the other classes and talent trees as well.
