Fined and suspended Klagenfurt-Emmhof’s sporting director

Klagenfurt’s sports director Matthias Imhoff was very critical of referee Alan Sadikowski’s performance after the home game against LASK (read here >>>): “He whistled badly today. Really bad whistle”.

This now has repercussions: As the first Senate of the Austrian football league ruled on Monday, Klagenfurt’s sports director had to pay a €2,000 fine. The reason given is “insult to the match official”. In addition, the “conditional forbearance of functional bans (game operations – including the technical area, playing field, and player tunnel) for a period of one month” will also be cancelled.

Imhof was sentenced last August to a fine of 1,000 euros at the time. In addition, he was conditionally given a one-month ban until the end of the season, which has now been revoked and is now showing its effects.
