MThere is hardly any subject other than love to which artists of all disciplines have been concerned. Werner Auer also discovered his love of love and turned it into a CD and music program.
Werner Auer has been committed to love – personally for a long time and musically since 2019. This year he recorded his own personal playlist called “Love”. The fact that Auer turned it into an evening of music can be described as notorious in the best sense of the word. He grabbed the Lonely Hearts band and went on a journey with dozens of “Love Songs and Other Songs” to give his audience an evening for all those in love – and those who still want it.
Longing in English, but also Austropop classics
The audience can enjoy this pleasure or hope on October 20 at 7:30 pm in the Weinviertel Concert Hall. And in Awir there is everything that desires the hearts. From the swing ballad “LOVE” to the 50s ballad “Put Your Head on My Shoulder” or pop classics like “Just the Way You Are” and “I Just Called to Say I Love You” to ballads like “Can You Feel the Love” tonight”.
In contrast to the CD, in which the artist sang only in English, the concert program also includes local headliners. And if Peter Cornelius’s “Du Sorry I’m Kin D” isn’t the Austrian form of the Australian love song, perhaps only Reinhard Fendrich will help: “Because you’ve got a heart like mine.”
The “business” of love should work well too. Currently only standing room tickets are available for the concert.
