At the beginning of 2024, the Brass Music Association of the Vockelbrück District, in cooperation with the State Music School of Upper Austria, invites you to an enjoyable evening of music at the Lenzing Cultural Center. Young conductors, youth brass bands, youth brass orchestras and bands from the Vocklebruck area will be in focus on Saturday 13 January 2024 (starting at 7:30pm) and set to make a great start to the New Year.

Above all, in the first part of the evening, two aspiring musicians formally finish their training as conductors (Class Walter Baldinger, District Bandmaster, State Music School in Vokelbrück) with a public concert. Alois Moosleitner (Frankenburg am Hausruck Traditional Band) and Maximilian Karl-Astegger (Fornach Traditional Band) are on the conductor's podium conducting a separately assembled wind orchestra with musicians from their local bands. Last but not least, final ceremonies will be ceremoniously delivered to graduates as part of the ceremony.

In the second part of the evening, you can look forward to the very popular New Year's Concert by the Vockelbrück District Youth Brass Orchestra, which has already become a tradition. With a program that is diverse, demanding and entertaining at the same time, the young brass bands of the region take you into the world of music, especially brass music. Among those on the program are works by Alfred Reed and John William. And, of course, not to be missed is the famous Austrian composer and Music Ruler of 2024 Anton Bruckner, who will be honored on the occasion of his 200th birthday. The musical direction of the orchestra is once again in the trusted hands of Manuel Kofler and Michael Leitner, who are also celebrating their tenth anniversary on the conductor's podium. On this musical evening.

The evening will be moderated by Honorary District President Cons. The engineer is Alfred Logstein and the general administration is the district commander Walter Baldinger.

Tickets for New Year's Voices 2024 (children or young people up to 15 years of age, as well as persons with disabilities and their companions, admission is free) are available via the ticket hotline (0660|3112880), from the conductors and all young concert musicians of the Focklebrook and Blasorchester area.

All the actors are really looking forward to this musical event and especially welcoming so many guests.
