Goalkeeper Patrick Kramer, playmaker Thomas Tuck, captain Alexander Graf and left-back Michael Bernhard – the list of question marks at FC Mistelbach currently remains long. Who will continue to wear the FCM jersey next season will be decided in the next few weeks.
When asked by NÖN, sporting director Hannes Stangel gave an initial assessment: “We know the game. We are still at the beginning, and it will take some time before I can say anything.
Rutzer: “The more hiccups, the better.”
Discussions are currently underway about potential contract extensions, and Stangel is in close contact with coach Alfred Rutzer and assistant coach Roman Mukesh. “We have already written a plan and a list of priorities,” the sporting director said. Coach Alfred Rutzer echoed the sentiment: “We're in a position where we know where we're going to play next year, so it makes sense to talk about it now. The more hiccups we can have, the better, but we're not nervous.”
He highlighted the development at the club: “I think we have a great atmosphere and everyone feels comfortable. Young players are taking more and more responsibility.
From a sporting standpoint, the spring in Mistelbach is looking good, with Albert Kautz, Jan Neumann and co scoring 15 points from their first eight games and losing just once. On Friday, the two teams played to a 1-1 draw in Klosterneuburg.
