Matteo Arnaldi caused a major upset at the French Open on Friday on another rainy day in Paris.
The 23-year-old Italian easily defeated No. 6 seed Andrey Rublev of Russia in the third round 7:6 (6), 6:2, 6:4.
Then co-candidate Jannik Sinner confidently defeated Russian Pavel Kotov 6:4, 6:4, 6:4, and Carlos Alcaraz also achieved a victory with a score of 6:4, 7:6 (5), 6:3 over the United States of America. Sebastian Korda No problems.
