The heir to the British throne participated in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
According to British media reports, the heir to the British throne, Prince William (41), is said to have commented on the health of his wife Kate (42) at a ceremony commemorating D-Day. When asked if the Princess of Wales, who was suffering from cancer, was feeling better, William answered with a clear “yes,” as reported by the PA news agency and others. The statement comes from a video clip showing William speaking to an elderly man in a wheelchair.
William took part in a memorial service on Wednesday with his father, King Charles, 75, and Queen Camilla, 76, to mark the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy. William added that Kate would have liked to attend the event in the coastal city of Portsmouth.
Catherine, as her real name is, announced to the public in a very personal video message at the end of last March that she had been diagnosed with cancer after undergoing major abdominal surgery last January. Since then, she has been undergoing preventive chemotherapy. She hasn't been seen in public for months. (APA/DPA)
