AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D + RAM OC: PCGHX User Adds More

Committed PCGHX Forum Community Here comes a well-constructed and comprehensive reader article on the subject of RAM OC, which aims to dispel the popular belief that overclocking RAM on processors with additional stacked 3D V-cache will not help. After Javic It managed to deliver great benchmarks in the first part, and our overclocker has now made several updates.

With this message, the PCGH editorial team intends to give the great work of the community more attention on the PCGH homepage and to report on the latest developments from the PCGHX forum. The following three updates have now been incorporated into the detailed reader article.

This clearly shows that RAM-OC also offers something at UHD resolution. Of course, the AVG FPS drops, which makes sense since the GPU is really challenged at UHD.

However, the 3800 setting is slightly ahead of the AVG FPS 3200 setting. But the P1 FPS and especially the P0.2 FPS are a huge leap forward over the 3800 setting!
