Sigl leaves KTM unexpectedly, brings Pierer Neumeister to the board

Reorganization in the management of the Innviertel KTM motorcycle manufacturer and its parent company Pierer Mobility AG in Wels: After 14 years on the Group's Management Board, CFO Viktor Sigl (50) is leaving the company. His contract was due to run until the end of 2027.

The listed Pierer Mobility announced on Thursday evening that Sigl's management board mandates “have been terminated by mutual agreement with the supervisory board”. The supervisory board would like to thank him “for his many years of commitment”. The separation took place at management level on Thursday, and Sigl will remain in office for a period before the handover, it was stated upon request.

CEO Stefan Pierer, 67, is taking over Sigl’s agenda on an interim basis. The Supervisory Board also decided to appoint Gottfried Neumeister (47) as a member of the Board of Management of Pierer Mobility AG and KTM AG on September 1. He is to support the agendas of the CEO, i.e. Pierer. Neumeister held senior positions at the catering company Do & Co from March 2012 to June 2023, including as co-CEO. He previously founded Flyniki with Niki Lauda and was managing director there until it was sold to Air Berlin.
