ÖTV: UTC Weißkirchen Junior Open: Double title for Lassacher/Navarro

The semi-final day of the UTC Weißkirchen Junior Open on Saturday, July 13, brought exciting matches and great emotions, but ended in disappointment for the Austrian players in the singles. Manuel Lassacher and Alexander Gschil had to admit defeat against their strong opponents in the ITF J60 Junior Championships on clay in Weißkirchen an der Traun. Lassacher was able to console himself with Dario Navarro with the first international U18 doubles title for both of them. The Salzburgers won the final against their compatriot and training partner at the European Tennis Base in Salzburg Rive, Julian Platzer, and Bosnian Ivan Biletic with 4:6, 6:3, 10:7 in the match tie-break. The boys' and girls' singles finals have now been decided, and we promise an exciting final day on Sunday from 9:30 am.

Lassacher (ITF 1727) played his semi-final match against top seed Beletic (ITF 352), but despite a tough match, he lost 4:6, 2:6.
