Stephen Curry is considered the best three-point shooter in basketball history. In the last Olympic test, the American star will have to see how his German teammate shines.
Basketball superstar Stephen Curry went after the sensation His German opponent, Andreas Obst, was clearly outclassed in the Olympic dress rehearsal. “It's nice to see that comparison: There are guys who modeled a little part of their game after me. “He changed the game”
The 36-year-old development player of the Golden State Warriors hit just one of his seven three-point attempts, while Obst converted five of eleven shots and totaled 17 points.
“He changed the game. It was exciting to play against him. It was a great experience,” the FC Bayern Munich professional said of the North American professional league's role model. Last year, Obst scored 24 points and played a key role in the elimination of the USA in the World Cup semifinals in Manila.
Curry is considered the best three-point shooter in NBA history and holds important records. During the regular season, the developmental player converted 3,747 three-pointers, nearly 800 more than the following Ray Allen, however, he played 300 more games. Curry and American flag bearer LeBron James lead the basketball team for the Olympic Games.
