You're looking for a leader who leads by example. You need someone who understands the responsibility of looking after a lot of different players and fortunately we have a team full of leaders, a team full of good people who want to take the club forward.
From the first moment, Janis Blasowich gave the impression that he was capable of taking on the responsibility of leading the team, not only in good times, but also when things got tougher.
I want a group of players – both on the pitch and in the dressing room – to lead by example, which is why we have formed a leadership group with Amar Dedic and Alex Schlager, who will be vice-captains. We have added Nico Capaldo and Brian Okoh to this already strong group. Together, these five will be the team's leadership group.
We want to create a culture of excellence and winning within the club and only the team can achieve that.
