In just under two weeks, Taylor Swift will perform three times in a row at the Ernst Happel Stadium. Each show is expected to be attended by 67,000 fans. Preparations for the concerts are already underway.
The 20-person stadium crew has been preparing everything for the Taylor Swift concert for about four weeks. A lot of things are top secret. There are no interviews. You can tell something is going on at Hubble Stadium because there is no grass on the ground right now.
Grass for training purposes
It was recently removed and brought outside in 100 individual rolls. Each roll weighs 1,000 kilograms. The 8,000 square meter grass area behind the stadium has been moved. It will be used there for training purposes in the future. It will not be able to support the weight of tens of thousands of concert guests.
To ensure that the floor is suitable for the concert, a plastic cover is placed. A dark blue mark on the floor represents the center of the stage. Before setting it up, the stadium staff must check all power connections as well as water connections.

300 toilets
Toilet facilities and escape routes are also checked – depending on the requirements, the concert organizers can use up to 300 toilets and 14 escape routes. Once everything is in order with the technology and security of the stadium, the stadium staff hand over the keys to the organizers, who then prepare the stadium for the Swifties’ attack.
