COLOGNE – Horst Lichter (62) is one of the most popular TV faces in Germany. He is not only a TV chef, but also a host, hosting, among other things, the trash talk show “Bares for Race”. There he also said that he plans to turn his back on Germany soon.

And the destination is very special, he tells “Cash for Arrears” participants Madeline and Andrea Beschel. Two women from Dresden brought with them a ring that they wanted to sell at the event. “I got it as a gift from my grandmother and it was to fulfill my wish,” explains Andrea.
When Horst Lichter asks what he wants, he gets a surprising answer: “Yes, I want to stand in Graceland one day.” The moderator eagerly says immediately: “With Elvis? Honestly? Let me tell you something? I'll be there soon. It's not a joke, I'll be there soon.” He spontaneously starts singing Elvis Presley's “Love Me Tender,” a catchy tune he heard earlier in the day.

Owner Andrea is one step closer to her dream of traveling to Graceland herself. The ring she brought to sell was made in the 1940s or 1950s with an old cut diamond in 18k yellow and white gold. According to the expert, he can expect 550 to 600 euros, after she needs 500. In the end she got 730 euros.
