Slovakia without chance – USA marches to the semi-finals with confidence

Apart from Germany, the United States will also advance to the semi-finals of the World Cup in Riga.

The quarterfinals between the United States and Slovakia are completely uncontrollable. The Americans took a 3-0 lead in the first division and won 6-1.

The Americans have celebrated seven consecutive victories since their initial defeat to Finland (1: 2). They conceded just nine goals in their eight games.

Colin Blackwell and Connor Garland each scored two goals against the Slovaks. The tournament’s most successful scorer, Peter Sehlarik (with five goals and six assists), was shortlisted in the second division for the Slovaks, who have to leave the World Cup for the ninth time in a row without a medal.

The United States, on the other hand, has won only two more world titles since 1933. Since the beginning of the Millennium, Americans have won four bronze medals (2004, 2013, 2015, 2018). Swiss champion Justin Abdelkader, who recently joined EVJuk, also wants the medal. Abdelkader will no longer appear in Riga due to a minor injury to his body. But he was alone in Latvia and swore to his team with an interesting speech before the game.
