Jazz in the Courtyard – Four days of jazz magic in St. Pölten

Jazz im Hof has been a fixture on the cultural calendar for years. As usual, from August 22nd to 25th, there will be two acts on three musical evenings in the inner courtyard of the City Museum. And on the fourth additional day, there will be jazz sounds for the whole family.

For the cultural year 2024, a new artistic director, Viola Valbe, will take over the festival’s programming. The award-winning jazz musician is known far and wide for her innovative approach to music and composition. This approach is also reflected in the lineup.

“The program ranges from the culturally inspired opening, with exciting young jazz formations from Austria, to the freer improvisational styles of the new program item, the Family Music Sunday,” says Viola Falb.

Lina and Lou decide together with the children to repair the old locomotive. The interactive program invites children and parents on an adventurous journey through sounds and melodies.
