This tower is intended to provide electricity to the lunar settlement.

Once built, the Lunarsaber network will not only serve as a power provider on the Moon, but will also provide communications services or facilitate observation of the celestial body from the air. For its main purpose, the towers must be able to capture solar radiation from all directions thanks to two DIABLO solar panels or be able to track it dynamically, so that Lunarsaber does not have to rely on daylight hours to generate power. The 37-kilometer wireless power transmission range is intended for lunar rovers or other devices used by astronauts.

Honeybee Robotics sees another use for such a network of constellations: they could be used to maintain constant contact with Earth, no matter where people are on the Moon. Sending signals between constellations distributed across the entire celestial body is intended to compensate for network failures, which typically occur when the planet is not visible. Optionally, such lunar swords could also be placed in places that always have a view of Earth.
