Moto2 T2: Garcia stays in front

In the last few minutes some riders can improve. But nobody can overtake Sergio Garcia and Philippe Salak. Tony Arbolino moves up to third. Aaron Canet is fourth. Ai Ogura remains fifth despite a crash.

Manuel Gonzalez, Joe Roberts, Celestino Vitti, Darren Binder and Somkiat Chantra completed the top 10. Behind them, Jake Dixon also made it. Alonso Lopez, Deniz Ongo and Marcos Ramirez took one more lap. However, the result is subject to change. Because there was some hanging around in turn nine, there is an investigation.

Moto2 T2: Ogura in the gravel

The corners had some falls on Friday. Now Ai Ogura has fallen there too. He hit the asphalt hard, but nothing seemed to happen to him. However, the red flag was waved because there was now a lot of gravel on the road. There were still about seven minutes left.

Moto2 T2: Garcia and Salak finished

Ai Ogura's best time is history once again. Both Philippe Salak and world championship leader Sergio Garcia were driving faster than the Japanese who now only sits third. Garcia set a new course record with a 1:33.461.

The vast majority of the field improved from Friday, with only Aaron Canet and Marcos Ramirez still in the top 10 in Friday times.

Moto2 T2: Ogura still going strong

Also in this session, Ai Ogura sets the tone early on. He corrects his best time to 1:33.673. There are already some early surges behind this. Jake Dixon has pushed Aaron Canet from second.

Moto2 T2: Weather improves

The cloud cover has opened up over the road and the sun is out. Moto2 conditions will also remain dry for now. Ai Ogura was the measure of things here on Friday. He finished the day with a best time of 1:33.943 minutes ahead of Aaron Canet and Manuel Gonzalez.

With just over ten minutes left on the clock, almost the entire field is in the pits. Tatsuki Suzuki crashed at Turn 4 but is fine. Not much has changed in the world rankings so far. Even ninth place is the same as yesterday. However, the latest hunt for times is likely to cause some shifts.
