DHL wants to increase its sales by 50 percent by 2030

BONN (awp International) – The logistics group DHL has set its growth target for the second half of the decade. DHL announced on Monday that by 2030, the DAX company aims to grow sales by 50 percent compared to 2023. Last year, revenues amounted to nearly 82 billion euros.

“We want to grow faster and more profitably,” said CEO Tobias Mayer. To support this goal, the Bonn-based company has also announced a new legal structure.

Accordingly, the e-commerce and postal and parcel divisions in Germany will be managed as independent companies in the future, similar to the existing companies. According to DHL, this move is a technical measure.

This should not result in any material changes to the Group's portfolio, collective agreements, protection agreements, management responsibilities or other legal obligations. Deutsche Post will continue to operate under the name Deutsche Post AG in the future. The implementation is expected to take one to two years.

The administration plans to provide more details about the second half of the contract and planned next steps on Tuesday.
