HeyGears presents the Resi UltraCraft Reflex RS 3D Printer

HeyGears The new UltraCraft Reflex RS 3D printer has been introduced. The resin printer is scheduled to launch on October 4, 2024, for $999.

Developed for designers, engineers and 3D printing enthusiasts, the Reflex RS is primarily intended for use in small-scale production and rapid prototyping. With its combination of high precision, speed and ease of use, the printer appeals to users who need fast and accurate manufacturing solutions.

The Reflex RS relies on the latest technology to ensure the highest accuracy. The C5-grade Z-axis module ensures consistent film thickness, reducing deviations to ±2 µm. Additionally, the printer offers 60-zone full screen calibration to ensure consistent light intensity and print accuracy across the entire print area. With tolerances of less than 0.05 mm, the printer is particularly suitable for complex geometries and fine details that can only be achieved using injection molding processes.

In addition to accuracy, the Reflex RS also scores points when it comes to speed. Thanks to the Dynamic Motion Algorithm 3.0, print speed can be increased by up to 33%. This adjustment is achieved by incorporating force sensors that regulate the print speed in real time. This results in reliable print quality and reduces typical issues such as layer misalignment or peeling that can occur during extended print runs.

Setting up the printer is also particularly easy to use. With features such as automatic leveling and one-click print setup, the Reflex RS can be ready for use in just 15 minutes. Optional add-ons such as a heated resin tank and automatic resin refilling further simplify the printing process and make it even more efficient.

HeyGears also introduced two new resins that expand the printer’s functionality. UltraPrint PAWW10, a water-washable resin, allows for easy post-processing and is ideal for long-lasting, low-warp models. The second resin, UltraPrint PAS10, offers a cost-effective solution for prototypes and micro-models with a level of detail down to 0.05mm.
