Delta Air Lines has released its transatlantic flight schedule for the summer of 2025. It is more comprehensive than ever and includes more flights from Zurich.

Unlike the summer of 2024, Limmat will fly to Atlanta every day instead of four times a week. The flight will fly three times a day from Switzerland to the US non-stop by the summer of 2025. In addition to Zurich-Atlanta, Zurich-New York/JFK and Geneva-New York/JFK are also back on the schedule.

Americans beyond Switzerland have some news to report. For example, the connection that runs three times from Barcelona to Boston is celebrating a premiere. There's also a new nonstop flight from Dublin to Detroit that Delta plans to operate four times a week.

The airline is looking to significantly increase its offering from Italy. Here the airline offers new nonstop services from Catania to JFK – an absolute first for the Sicilian metropolis, where Delta will be the only US airline. It operates four times a week from Naples to Atlanta, completing a new route to JFK this summer.

Rome is getting a new connection four times a week to the Minneapolis/St. Pal and therefore connected with a total of five delta centers. Milan now has four weekly flights to Boston.

Improved pre-flight comfort

Delta is also looking to improve the pre-flight experience by opening new Delta One lounges in the US. Following the recent opening at New York/JFK Airport, new lounges in Los Angeles, Boston and Seattle will soon welcome guests.

The flights are operated in conjunction with Delta's joint venture partners Air France-KLM and Virgin. (TI)
