The EC Graz Huskies celebrated their first win2day AWHL. After their opening loss to the Carinthia Lakers, the Styrian team won 3-1 over the Salzburg Eagles, who were playing their first game in the AWHL.
The Huskies took a 2-0 lead through the first eight minutes before the Eagles scored the next goal in the middle third. However, the Graz women made it 3-1 in the same section, hence the final score.
They receive on Sunday Lakers Carinthia In the Austrian Women's Hockey League win2day KSV Highlanders. While the Carinthians celebrated a win in their AWHL debut, the Highlanders lost to the St. Louis Sabers.
