Game Freak developer has fallen victim to a hacker attack.
After Insomniac Games and Rockstar, among others, were recently affected by hacking attacks along with massive data leaks, Pokémon developer Game Freak may have lost thousands of internal and top-secret data through a phishing attack via a announced Nintendo admin account.

The situation surrounding Game Freak cannot be compared to regular leaks. If it usually concerns the transfer of information by insiders, this is a criminal offence. Although the situation is not completely clear at the moment, it is possible that in addition to gameplay assets and release plans, sometimes private and financial information from Game Freak employees may also be affected.
