Filming of two new rural crime films has been completed: Harry Prinz and Anna Unterberger investigate “Steirerwahn” and “Steirerstich”, the thirteenth and fourteenth cases in the ORF series from Styria.
In “Steirerwahn” a series of murders rocks the community of “cider distillers”, who produce expensive brandy according to an old recipe and are not known for their peaceful interactions with each other. In “Steirerstich” a bar chef is found dead, who has had his fingers not only in the cooking pots but also in the money pots of the in-house thrift club.
Wolfgang Mornberger brought it together again He is also responsible for the scripts together with his wife, Maria Mornberger. Filming took place from mid-August to mid-October in Graz and the surrounding area as well as Fürstenfeld and the surrounding area.
In addition to Harry Prinz and Anna Unterberger, Christoph Kohlbacher as well as Helmut Köpping, Harald Krasnitzer, Hilde Dahlek, Simon Hutzel, Liam Norrie and Jaschka Lammert (“Steirerwahn”), Maya Unger, Martina Spitzer, Thomas Mraz and Anne-Kathrin Kramer. They were in front of the camera (“Steirerstich”). The films are based on characters from Claudia Rosbacher's film “Steirerkrimis” and are expected to be released on ORF 1 and ORF ON in 2025.
