Jack Jones, singer of “Love Boat”, has died at the age of 86.
“Love Boat” singer Jack Jones died of leukemia in the US state of California at the age of 86, according to American media, citing his family and management.
The pop singer rose to prominence with the song “Love Boat.”
Jones was born in Los Angeles in 1938 to an actor couple. After school he started working as an actor and musician. He celebrated his early successes with songs such as “Lollipops and Roses”, “Wives and Lovers” and “The Impossible Dream” before the theme song for the TV series “Love Boat” made him world famous in the 1970s. Jones has been married six times and has two daughters.
