Florian Flickr will succeed Reinhold Ranftl, who was sold to Schalke, at LASK. The 25-year-old is signed until 2024. “For my sporting development, a move to Upper Austria is absolutely the right thing, because LASK’s style of play suits my strengths very much,” said Styrian. Coach Dominic Talhammer was delighted with the access: “We know from our analysis that Florian Flickr is a player who, in terms of strength, has exactly what we need at LASK. After the conversations that took place in the past few days I was also impressed by his mentality and attitude.”
Flickr moved from Hartberg to Union Berlin in 2019, but has not been used by the German Bundesliga club. His way back to Hartburg in January led through the second division of Würzburg. For the Styrians, he scored in a 2-1 win at Basinger Raiffeisen Arena in the spring. LASK has been his favorite opponent so far: three goals and three assists have been scored in twelve matches – against which club in the Bundesliga he was more dangerous.
Athletes signed by Enrique Wilde on Flickr. The 21-year-old Swiss left-back forced himself to be promoted to second division FC Juniors Ou. Thallmer: “He’s ready for the Bundesliga.”
