It continued to grow strongly in the first half of the year. The number of new customers in the first six months of the year rose by more than 500,000 to 1.75 million, the company announced Monday in Frankfurt. Frank Nehag, president of Flatexdegiro, sees the company on track to increase the number of customers as planned to 2 to 2.2 million by the end of the year and process a total of 90 to 110 million transactions in 2021.
In the first half of the year, the number of transactions on a comparative basis jumped about 41 percent to about 53 million. Sales increased by 127% to 226 million euros. Adjusting for special items, EBITDA grew by 137% to approximately €108 million. However, earnings per share fell by nearly 10% to €1.03 due to special effects.
As is already known, the company wants to exit the SDax index of small businesses by the end of the year at the latest
