BERLIN (ots/PRNewswire) – Infotecs GmbH, the world’s leading IT security company from Berlin, is supplying its encryption solution for PLCnext Control from Phoenix Contact. For this purpose, Infotecs virtualizes its encoder via Docker Container directly on the console.

Increasingly, operators of distributed industrial production facilities are integrating machines and systems into their IT infrastructure. This is necessary for the constant control and monitoring of production processes and for recording the corresponding key numbers. Using PLCnext Technology, Phoenix Contact creates the prerequisites for the safe operation of machines and systems. Thus, confidential device data that is transmitted between the connected systems and network in the SCADA control system is protected from unauthorized access.
