Kanade and Michael Weingartmann invite you to a piano concert on March 23rd at 7:30 pm in the Reithoffersaal of the LMS Steyr.
Steyr. In their concert at LMS Steyr, Kanade and Michael Weingartmann present a very impressive program chosen with great sensitivity. This evening’s repertoire includes pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, Dvorak, Rachmaninoff and Golda. “Beethoven’s ‘Storm Sonata’ is recognized as a masterpiece of the composer’s second creative period,” explains Michael Weingartmann. The piece is often described as deeply erotic and under the skin, putting the drama of human life on paper in the form of notes. With Chopin, my wife will play the orchestral part in the piano concerto. Friedrich Golda’s “Tales from Golowinerwald” will also be a highlight. In addition to several well-known melodies, there is also a jazz one with an improvisational part. In addition, the piece can be considered Rachmaninoff’s First in B flat major is rare for interpretation. I’ve never heard of him in our area,” explains Weingartmann.
So you can look forward to an evening of first class and demanding piano again.
