The latest generation of environmentally friendly Acer Vero B7 desktop monitors are said to bring with it a number of features aimed at improving ergonomics while at the same time reducing environmental footprint. For this reason, the percentage of PCR (post-consumer recycling) in housing is said to have increased from 35 to 85%.
The Acer Vero B7 series includes a group of monitors with screen diagonals from 21.5 to 28 inches with IPS technology and equipped with a resolution up to UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels). A highlight of the new Business series is the 100 Hz panel, which is available in diagonals of 23.8 and 27 inches. Smoother picture reproduction due to the increased refresh rate should ensure a more pleasant visual experience in office use and less eye strain during long work sessions. TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certified displays also reduce blue light for better eye protection. With the large number of available interfaces such as VGA, DP, HDMI, USB Type-C, and audio in/out, the monitors can also be easily integrated into any work environment.
The Acer Vero series wants to stand up for sustainability. In addition to the significant increase in the percentage of PCR plastics in the new Acer Vero B7 series, an additional 5 percent of Ocean Bound plastics will be used to contribute to effective ocean cleanup. The impact of these measures on the environment is certainly debatable. This cannot really be judged by us.
Acer has also improved its new business monitors in terms of ergonomics. The height of the new stand can be adjusted up to 150 mm. This can provide users with greater flexibility and allow the screen to be customized according to individual needs. In addition, the base also provides a pivot function, with which the Vero B7 can be easily rotated 90 degrees in both directions so that you can view images in portrait format or documents in full screen.
The B7 series monitors are now available at recommended retail prices starting at €169.
