Adobe today released updates for several Creative Cloud applications. Lightroom Classic, Illustrator and Indesign all run natively on Apple computers with an M1 processor, thus completing their tasks 80% faster (compared to running on an Intel Mac). Premiere pro is currently available as a beta for M1 PCs. In addition, the “Super Resolution” function, which Adobe integrated into Camera Raw in the latest update, is now also available in Lightroom and Lightroom Classic. There are also a number of minor changes in Photoshop for iPad, Photoshop Express, Illustrator, and Adobe XD.
Camera Raw and the Lightroom family receive new premium presets. In Lighroom/Lightroom Mobile, sharing functionality has been added for collaboration and you can now define your own aspect ratios when cropping. In Photoshop for iPad, users can download and use a variety of brush tips – such as Keith Haring or Kyle Webster’s brush sets.
