The court ruled in a temporary order that the AfD senior leader must accept the motion on a point of order
AfD senior leader Jürgen Tröttler in the Thuringia state parliament repeatedly refused to vote on a proposal put forward by the CDU and BSW in the state parliament session on Thursday.
Thuringia – In the dispute over the election of the president of the state parliament in Thuringia, the CDU has achieved success in court. On Friday evening, the Thuringia Constitutional Court in Weimar obliged senior leader Jürgen Trütler of the AfD, through a temporary order, to submit a parliamentary group's proposal to change the rules of procedure to a vote. It is possible to discuss this matter and take a decision on it before the election of the Speaker of the State Parliament.
