SCR Altach records the next departure of an important offensive force: Daniel Maderner dares to leap abroad and changes to the Belgian First Division relegated to Waasland-Beveren. The parties agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.
“I think back to a very intense year at SCR Altach, which both personally and as a team were very lucky for me and as a team to be able to finish on a positive note. My thanks go to all those who accompanied us at Altach and to those responsible for my desire to move to a very ambitious club in Belgium,” says Maderner. .
The 25-year-old striker had only moved from SKU Amstetten to Ländle last summer. In the last season of the Bundesliga, Maderner played 34 competitive matches, scoring six goals and preparing another five.
Sports director Werner Grager explains: “We decided on a transfer deal with Daniel Maderner, because in the end it was the player’s express desire to move to Belgium. This transfer gives us additional economic space to continue planning for the new season we wish for. Daniel all the best for his future and a successful time in Belgium.”
