Hit the round
The women of SK Sturm Graz have performed well in the last few weeks, but the points they have gained can be improved. Obviously, they lost 3-0 to the series champions from St. Pölten, even though they played well for a long time. In the second match in a row last weekend against Vienna Women, Sarjun Duran's side managed to draw 1-1, wasting a chance or two for victory, especially towards the end of the match. Now the third big match will come in three weeks – the women play SCR Altach in Morstadt. On Sunday starting at 12:45pm, the Sturm women will do everything they can to get back to their winning ways. However, everyone in the Graz camp realizes that this will not be an easy task. Guests of Landel currently occupy third place in the table with nine points, while Styria is sixth with four points. “We have shown good performances in the last few weeks, but unfortunately we have not fully rewarded ourselves. We have to take the next step and become more efficient in exploiting our opportunities. That will also be crucial against a very compact team like Altaş.” “I'm really looking forward to this big match,” said coach Sarjun Doran.
Double match day
For Sturm Damen to get back to winning ways, they also need a lot of support in the stands. Since the fighting side will play against FC Red Bull Salzburg at the sold-out Merkur Arena on Sunday at 5:00pm, it is ideal to focus on our colors on this last day of the week. Schwoaze – Our girls need your full support, see you on Sunday from 12:45pm at the Styrian Football Association Arena!
