Andrea already knew that giving birth wasn't always easy. But she wasn't expecting the midwife's insulting comments – and she certainly wasn't expecting that she would still be in pain a year after giving birth or suffer flashbacks and panic attacks from her experiences in hospital.
Today Andrea is doing well, but the road has been long and has taken many turns. Through her story, she wants to encourage other women who have had negative birth experiences and show them how and where they can get help.
This podcast was created with the generous support of Zurich Insurance. Responsibility for social issues has a tradition in Zurich. As part of society, Zurich wants to help shape a better future. Risks can prevent people from realizing their full potential and achieving their goals. As an insurance company, Zurich understands the risks and how to protect yourself from them.
But there are also risks that cannot be covered by an insurance contract: poverty, disability, unemployment, flight and social deprivation. Zurich seizes this opportunity for its social commitment. You can learn more about this at https://www.zurich.at/ueber-zurich/unsere-werte
